I walked straight up out of the MARTA station and there was a huge sign that I saw well before I saw the Mini Covertible (Mankus)that was hidden by the taxi parked just in front of it. For my first time using a Zip Car it was really smooth with only one irritation. As all the Zip Car family knows, at 1/4 tank you need to put gas in for the next user. Well, when I got in the gas needle was just barely hanging on the 1/4 tank mark.
But, the car was great for a quick zip down to East Atlanta to help by brother check out a house he'd found on a real estate website and wanted to see in person. Anybody who know the area knows it's a painful bus ride to get down there so having Mankus was great. The best part was that it was a great sunny day and I was able to get some sun while taking care of this little pre-dinner errand!
On the way back to park the car I was able to spin by a gas station and top off the tank which was quick and easy, but now I know that I need to check the odometer before I get out of the car since the pump asks for the current odometer when you go to fill up.
Best part of this whole first experience was that I didn't have to think twice when the bartender asked what I wanted since I didn't have to drive back home to Buckhead! I got myself out of traffic and didn't have to check worry about accidentally having too many of those great high gravity beers that the Brick Store keeps on tap.
